Chicago, IL

The Chicago Summer Leadership Academy seeks to build leadership development skills in participants and strengthen relationships between students and community members working to address gun violence in Chicago.

We’re excited to bring the Chicago Summer Leadership Academy back for its fourth year! In the past, we’ve met with community partners like the Institute for Nonviolence Chicago, collaborated on community service learning projects with Chicago Cares, toured the University of Chicago, and engaged in discussions on leadership development and personal growth.

After a week of similar experiences you’ll exit this year’s program with a personalized project to reduce gun violence in your community, the know-how to take that project from idea to reality, and a network of fellow leaders ready to support you along that journey!
