Program Manager, Community Safety Fund

Devenray Rivera is the Program Manager for the Community Safety Fund, the nation’s largest funding source dedicated to advancing and scaling community-based violence intervention programs.

Previously, Devenray served as the Director of Career Readiness for the Center of Community Alternatives, where he managed multiple projects, including grant operations, a tiered workforce development program for systems-involved youth, peer mentorship, and provided access to direct employment. Devenray also supported New York’s Raise the Age legislation that increased the minimum age for youth held on Rikers Island to 18 years old.

Devenray holds a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from St. Francis College and a Master’s in Public Administration from John Jay College.
