Nathalie has several years of experience developing, leading, and managing programs focused on building capacity for violence prevention programs, operations, and partnerships. Previously, she served as the RISE Associate Director of Community Initiatives at the Center for Justice Innovation. She also worked with Albany 518 SNUG and was named an Everytown Survivor Fellow in 2018. Her involvement in this movement began when her younger brother, Jose, fell victim to a senseless act of gun violence in 2011. In honor of her brother’s memory, Nathalie works to support others impacted by gun violence by working with programs to develop and implement community-based violence intervention initiatives. She manages diverse partnerships and provides training on cultural sensitivity, bias reduction, and technical assistance for evidence-based reform and violence prevention strategies.
Nathalie holds a Bachelor of Science in Community Health from the State University of New York at Cortland and a Master’s of Public Health with a concentration in community health and social behavior from the State University of New York at Albany.
