Simon Stephanos is a Program Manager for the Everytown Community Safety Fund. In his role, Simon works closely with grassroots organizations, providing critical funding and strategic support to help expand their reach and impact.
Simon brings several years of experience in issue-driven investment, capacity building, and social advocacy. Before joining Everytown, he worked as a social impact consultant at The Bridgespan Group, where he guided funders in designing strategies that prioritized racial equity and helped nonprofits serving historically marginalized communities develop sustainable funding models by co-authoring several publications that urged philanthropists and impact investors to address the racial wealth gap through concrete, investable solutions. He also served as a Policy Fellow for the Biden for President campaign, developing memos that supported campaign communications on a broad range of social issues. Simon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
