Tens of thousands of guns are trafficked across state lines and into the hands of criminals every year. The federal government adopted a new anti-trafficking law in 2022 with the passage of the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act. State and local officials should work with federal law enforcement to identify, investigate, and bring illegal gun traffickers to justice.
