Prohibit Auto Sears, Bump Stocks, and Other Rapid-Fire Devices

Machine guns have been tightly regulated under federal law since the 1930s. However, rapid-fire devices that effectively convert semi-automatic weapons into machine guns—including auto sears, bump stocks, and binary triggers—are designed to skirt the law. Tragically, these devices have been recovered on firearms at countless crime scenes.
